Handmade in Morocco

 FAQs

  • TIFA bags are thoughtfully designed in Texas and brought to life in Fez, Morocco — where our artisan partners craft each piece by hand using time-honored techniques. Every stitch reflects a collaboration between intention and heritage, blending modern design with centuries of Moroccan craftsmanship.

  • We use full-grain leather from the historic Chouara Tannery in Fez, made from sheep and goat hides known for their softness, strength, and lightness. Each hide is naturally tanned using safe, non-toxic, plant-based materials — no harsh chemicals or synthetic coatings.

Because it’s full-grain, the leather retains its natural texture and markings, making each piece truly unique. Some bags are soft and supple, others more structured — this depends on the part of the hide and the finishing method. You’re holding leather in its purest form: authentic, lasting, and full of character.

  • Each TIFA piece is crafted in a small, intentional batch — often just one or two bags per model. Because our process is slow, artisanal, and entirely done by hand, we don’t carry large inventories or mass-produce styles. What you see is what’s been made — and once it’s gone, it may not return in the same form. Every bag is rare by nature, not by marketing.

  • We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on unused items in their original condition. Custom or engraved pieces are final sale.
